Tech Savvy Seniors - Booking a Holiday - Sydney Course

Nowadays, planning a holiday is much easier. You no longer need to head to the travel agent's office, but can do most of the planning yourself at home using the internet.

This course will look into how you can use technology to plan a holiday either within Australia or overseas.

We will consider what would be required to plan a holiday and break the course into two parts:

  • The planning before you leave home (mainly PC & web-based) - including researching about your destination, booking accommodation, flights and tours, getting your travel documents and insurance ready.
  • The planning and organising whilst you are on holiday (mainly using your phone) - including navigating, how to stay in touch with people back at home, money exchange, transport and accommodation.

By the end of the course, you will feel confident in planning and booking a domestic or overseas holiday.

Macquarie Community College operates from a range of venues across Northern and Western Sydney. We have campuses in Blacktown, Carlingford, Chatswood, Epping, Mt Druitt, Richmond, and Ryde. Enrol now!
