Resin Jewellery Workshop - Sydney Course

Learn to make your own resin jewellery and create a unique piece for yourself or to give as a beautiful gift. In this workshop you will learn resin casting techniques to create pendants, brooches, beads and bangles.

You will learn how to use different tools, jewellery moulds, resin recipes, how to embed interesting objects such as dried flowers and how to present it as a jewellery item. You will walk away with 4 pieces of your very own unique resin jewellery.

Course Outline

In this course you will learn:

  • To set up your workspace
  • Use of tools and jewellery moulds
  • Resin recipes
  • What items can be embedded in resin
  • Resin curing times
  • Cleaning up
  • Presenting jewellery after it is set

Course Outcome

At the end of the workshop you will know:

  • Equipment needed to create Resin Jewellery
  • How to set up jewellery moulds
  • How to pour for clear, coloured & embedded jewellery
  • Drying methods
  • How to clean up
  • Create 4 pieces of jewellery, including pendants, brooches, beads & bangles

What to bring

All materials supplied
You can bring any small items to use for embedding in a pendant, if you wish.

Important Information

Resin jewellery needs to stay level to set and cure for at least 12 hours. It will be left at the venue for setting and can be picked up later in the week.

Prerequisite

No prior knowledge required, but those who have attended previous Resin workshops will enjoy trying these other styles.

Delivery Mode

Classroom based: experienced and engaging trainers will take you through the course material face to face.

Classroom based learning for this course includes:

  • Scheduled class times and sessions
  • Interaction with your trainer and other students
  • The class is delivered in an art room
