If you are passionate about flowers and want to create beautiful arrangements then you will love this course!
During the course, you will learn to create a beautiful arrangement combining fresh flowers and succulents in a container, that can be displayed on your outdoor table setting or around the house. All flowers and succulents are fresh from the flower markets ready for you to create a lovely arrangement to place in your home.
You will also be shown additional ideas on how to decorate your dining table, ready for summer BBQ weather!
By the end of the class, you will have leant specific floristry skills and flower arrangement techniques. This course is suitable for beginners or for those wanting to improve their current skills.

Course Outline
You will learn:
- Seasonal floral creation
- Floral philosophy, such as colour, texture and positioning
- Tips and techniques, such as how to cut flowers and care for them
- Succulent care
- How to incorporate flowers and succulents together to make a modern arrangement
Course Outcome
By the end of the course, you will know:
- Where to purchases floral supplies
- How to wire fresh flowers and succulents
- How to care for flowers and succulents
- How to arrange flowers and succulents in container’s
- The equipment used in floristry
- Elements of arrangement and colour coordination
What to bring
Please bring:
- The course fee includes the flowers for the first lesson. payable to the tutor, to cover the cost of the first lesson’s flowers
- $50 for subsequent lessons (this will be for all flowers and sundries)
- Secateurs
- Floral scissors
- Rose stripper
Please note: The teacher has florist scissors ($6) and rose strippers ($4) if you want to purchase them.
You will be provided with:

Prerequisite: Essential
- This course is for suitable for all levels. Complete beginners are welcome as well as those students who have already completed the Introduction to Flower Arrangement course or higher levels.
Important Information
- Fresh flowers and sundries at an additional weekly cost of $50 (details confirmed each week).
This is to be paid to your teacher at the start of each class.
