There is nothing that gets us feeling more Christmassy than our festive courses! Turn your creative flair into floral reality this Christmas.

This Christmas Door Wreath course will get you into the Christmas spirit. Using fresh flowers, you will create your own Christmas wreath using fresh foliage, pine cones, berries, cinnamon stick and other decorative items. Your final arrangement can be hung on a door, wall or placed on a table with a candle centrepiece. You will be guided step-by-step on how to put your Christmas wreath together and how to care for it so that it can last over the festive season.

You will also learn new ideas and tips on how to decorate your Christmas table. Impress your family and friends this year and capture the Christmas spirit!

This course is suitable for beginners or anyone who wants to further develop their flower arrangement skills.

You will learn:

Course Outcome

It is intended that by the end of the course you will know:

  • Where to purchase floral supplies
  • How to make a hanging wreath that can be adapted for a wall or table centrepiece
  • The equipment used in floristry

Prerequisite: Desirable

  • No experience required. This course is suitable for beginners and those wishing to build on their current flower arrangement skills.

What to Bring

Students will need to bring:

  • Pen and note book
  • Secateurs or Floral Scissors (these can be purchased from the tutor during class)
