Calligraphy: Celtic Art - Spirals - Sydney Course

Celtic Art originated from the Celts in Europe and is a decorative artform which traditionally involves the use of spirals, geometric shapes, knots and repetitive patterns.

Celtic Art has five elements of design: knots, spirals, step patterns, key patterns & zoomorphic design. This course focuses solely on spirals, starting with the basics, how to use them in different shapes, to designing your own multi-spiral pattern.

You will be taken step-by-step through drawing each Celtic spiral design, using a proven simple method that makes the process easy. Starting with small designs and building into large layered pages of pattern.
