Using a calligraphic pen, you will learn to write an Uncial script in two versions, including in an attractive monoline form, which will then be developed into a more decorative style. A small practical project will be included and further options will be discussed. This course is designed especially for those who have no previous experience

Course Outline
This course involves a combination of demonstration and practical work.
In this course you will:
- Learn a monoline Uncial script
- Create calligraphic patterns
- Write an Uncial script in a more decorative form
- Produce a small project
Course Outcome
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Write both a monoline and decorative Uncial script
- Develop your own calligraphic patterns
- Create small projects using calligraphic script
What to Bring
Please bring :
- 2 x ZIG Memory System Dual-tip Calligraphy Marker pens, (any 2 colours).
The pens are available at art shops, such as The Art Scene and online.

This class is for the complete beginner and assumes no prior experience in calligraphy.
