Ron went to school in Perth and was qualified as a mechanical engineer. Prior to his family and his migration to Sydney in the year 2000, he gained wide industrial management and training experience with a Company dealing with American Construction Equipment in Malaysia.

He has travelled extensively in Asia particularly China, Japan and South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

Ron has been with Macquarie Community College since February 2005 teaching Mahjong for Beginners and All Levels to students . He also teaches Chinese Mandarin at Macquarie Community College and other colleges and institutions.
