Stewart is by profession a researcher and an internationally published author of twelve How-to books on tourism, with a particular focus on Getting into Bed Breakfast. He has written the textbooks on this subject for Australia, New Zealand, UK and Ireland.

Each year, Stewart stages more than 50 lectures on getting into the business of Bed & Breakfast - for 28 different learning faculties in Australia. He is an internationally recognised authority on the subject of how to successfully start a bed & breakfast business.
