DanieI has considerable experience having worked and studied at a number of facilities throughout the world, including the John Curtin Medical School, Australian National University, The Brain and Behaviour Department of University of New England and the large facilities of the Mannheimer Foundation in United States of America, as well as being involved in numerous research projects both in Australia and internationally.
Daniel has completed a PhD in biology as well as a Postdoctoral internship. Additionally, he has completed 6 of the required courses for a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (the final two to be completed by the end of 2012), which he has supplemented with external courses via the Open University system and online resources such as those offered by MIT open courseware.
Daniel became fascinated in this area of teaching by his own previous lecturers and tutors who spurred on his interest in the field of animal behavior and mythological species.
Teaching has always been one of the key priorities in his career. He has lectured at a number of universities and presented at several academic conferences, including the Australian National University, the Northwest University of China, the Australasian Primate Society, the American Society of Primatology, the International Primatological Society, the University of Sydney and the Mannheimer Foundation. Whilst conducting field research in China, he was involved in the training and education of the students of the Northwest University of Xian, acting as an English and article protocol advisor and scientific method and experiment design adviser.
