STEVEN SU
Experience:
Steven Su was a senior language lecturer in a university in China for over 13 years. He taught Chinese to international students and teachers at different levels in China. As a language and culture teacher, he won several university-level teaching awards and was invited to lecture in several universities in China. He has published several book chapters such books as For A Tourist Guide in Yunnan (2006), An Introduction of English Speaking Countries (2009), and some journal articles. He has been translating all kinds of documents for different clients, organizations and enterprises.
Steven has been working as a Research Assistant at the China Research Centre in a university in Sydney since 2009 and has worked for several big Australia-China conferences as an interpreter and a translator. His main interest is language and culture teaching. He has been teaching Mandarin Chinese for adults in some other colleges and communities. He has taught Mandarin Chinese language and culture to all age groups and levels. With his practical and theoretical experience and his theory-based insights into two languages: Chinese and English, his class will be fun, interesting and rewarding.
