Adriana Piscicelli

Bachelor of Arts (Hon) ? majoring in Literature and Modern History with Australian History focus. (Macquarie University) Honours thesis on Italian immigrants and proxy marriage
Graduate Diploma in TESOL (Macquarie University)
Diploma in Voluntary Literacy Training ( TAFE at Blacktown)

Adriana comes from the hairdressing industry and was an owner and manager for 20 years. After her experience as a voluntary tutor in Literacy and Numeracy she was keen to become an ESL teacher. To this enthusiasm she brought her skills and understanding of teaching Italian language to adults.

She has been employed with Macquarie Community College for a few years after completing her TESOL training in English

She is passionate about teaching English and enjoys communicating and interacting with her adult students.

Currently she is considering completing her M.A. on a thesis that continues to explore the cultural experience of Italians in marriage through oral research into their perceptions and the actual practice.
