Deborah Jane Mitchell

Deborah has enjoyed an extensive career spanning twenty-five years working as a writer, researcher and producer in the culture industries of commercial radio, international and independent publishing, and film and television production. Her experience includes the adaptation of literary works for film, writing of sitcom proposals for commercial television and freelance journalism. She has also enjoyed success in corporate public relations and advertising copy writing. Deborah has been designing and facilitating life story writing, fiction and journal writing workshops for community colleges, individual groups and non-profit charitable organizations since 1995. She is currently engaged in study at University of New England completing an Advanced Diploma in Arts.
