Nicolas Martinez I grew up in Narbonne, a little city in the South of France, near the Mediterranean coast but went to University in Montpellier, where he majored in French linguistic for five years with phonetic, grammar, socio and psycholinguistic, and general linguistics. That is to say the whole mechanism of my mother tongue.

In fourth year he specialised in teaching foreign languages, and the last year of his Master, he did research work about the cultural differences in an international classroom and so how to utilise the difference to enhance the teaching of French lessons.

Once graduated, Nicholas started teaching in Montpellier, in several schools of the city centre in which international students, workers, tourists came to learn general French (phonetic, grammar, civilisation, culture), or specialised French (medical, business). He worked in Montpellier until the end of 2007 and decided to try a new professional experience abroad, which is why he is now in Australia.
