Through Blue Tongue Harmonica, Doug Lyons has been teaching the wonders of the harmonica in workshops, private lessons & corporate groups all over Australia. Doug’s passion for the harmonica has seen him perform & spread the sound of the humble harp in television & radio.

Doug has appeared on:

• Triple J Morning show with Francis Leach
• Countless appearances on ABC Radio with Simon Marnie,

James Valentine, Scott Levi, David Kilby, Ric Patterson,
Steve Austin & Richard Glover

• Television appearances include Channel Nine’s “The Today Show”

& Channel Seven’s "Sunrise"

Doug has also composed & performed music for the TV Show Dining Down Under.

Doug is the founder of The Sydney Harmonica festival, which is committed to showcasing the best of Australian, & international harmonica players. He is currently playing with The Blues Preachers a Country Blues Duo and is in the process of recording a new album in scheduled for release in March 2007.

Doug has also been guest Judge at The Tamworth Golden Harmonica Championships.
