DR ZEN LOY, PhD
Zen Loy picked up his first digital camera in 1997 and has been taking digital photos, editing the images using various imaging tools and making photo prints ever since. He has done many different types of photo shoots and especially enjoys portfolio and glamour work. Zen has also organised and led a photo tour of China.
Zen has lectured in Computer Science both at the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand and the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. His computing experience spans mainframes, PCs, the Internet, web development, software development and management. He has also been a co owner of a ComputerLand store.
He is the author of “Japanese language Insights” a book providing cultural insights into colloquial Japanese usage.
Zen conducts many courses and workshops on Digital Photography, Photoshop and Lightroom. Zen has taught Dreamweaver courses and currently teaches Digital Photography and Digital Imaging courses at MBTC.
