Jean is an experienced book artist and has taught hand bookbinding, inventive formats and crafts with paper in New York, San Diego, Boston, Montreal, and all over Australia (WA, TAS, QLD, NT and NSW). After working in advertising agencies and design studios in the USA and Australia, she currently runs a design and marketing studio in inventive print promotions called Paper & Pixel in Sydney.

Jean is also the author of three books and over 30 magazine articles. She is passionate about working with paper and its creative possibilities.

Taking the skills from handbound books, which is ideal for artists, writers, graphic designers, teachers and students plus anyone who just enjoys working with paper, Jean applies the techniques in her various workshops. It is a magical world in which you can learn to create. Handmade cards, brochures, fliers or books offer a wealth of possibilities for creative expression, combining visual content with text and structure.
