Louise is a creative teacher experienced in a highly popular art form ? ?handmade food miniatures.? These mini versions of food, 1/12 the original size, are handmade using Japanese air-drying clay with colour. They appear almost identical to real food.
Two of Louise?s most renowned works are a miniature patisserie made for Australia?s leading celebrity pastry chef, Adriano Zumbo (as featured in Channel Ten?s ?MasterChef?), and a miniature lamb chop brooch produced for the widely seen TV commercial for Australian Day. Louise?s work has been reviewed by the media and show cased in the ?Dollhouse and Miniature Expo? at the Sydney Olympic Park.
Louise has been teaching this fun art for the last 5 years. Over the years, Louise has studied extensively with some of the most renowned teachers in Japan and Hong Kong. She is currently the leading teacher in Australia who teaches this type of artwork.
