Experience

• Hailan Lin grew up in the Fujian Province of China, which is home to the famous Wuyi mountains, where some of the most renowned Chinese teas are grown.

• Hailan grew up in a family that lived off the land and appreciated tea from a young age.

• She regularly participates in annual tea competitions and hosts tea ceremonies and tea training classes.

• She strives to educate tea lovers on how to choose the right teas, brewing methods and the philosophical and spiritual side of tea culture.

• Her goal is to further enhance the lives of people who have never encountered Chinese teas before, through to those who have lived with tea their whole lives.

Qualifications

• In 2008, she followed Chairman of Tea Association and Tea Master Liu Guo Ying to develop a fuller understanding of tea culture.

• She studied at Qian Xiang Corporation in 2012 to become a Tea Specialist and in 2015 she followed Tea Master Lin Zhi to become a National Senior Tea Specialist.

• She was the winner of Tea Specialist in 2016 Both Side of Taiwan Straits Tea Competition. This was followed by a period of sharing her knowledge of tea with a wide range of people, including in Sydney where she organized tea culture exhibitions and ceremonies.

• Hailan Lin is now active in the tea community in both China and Australia.
