Experience
I have facilitated workshops for those suffering dementia, people who would like to know themselves more deeply and others with mental health issues. Art therapy is a powerful tool to use in an individual situation or with groups. It allows an expression of thoughts that may not have reached the verbal level to be communicated through creating art. It is a therapy that can be used in various ways to allow an emotion to be discovered, explored and transmuted where needed. I personally use and study transpersonal art therapy in my day to day life.
