Experience

• Maria is an experienced dressmaker and pattern maker. Her passion for sewing

and fashion started 33 years ago where she began as a self taught sewer. Maria
since gained professional qualifications in fashion technology, bridal wear and
pattern making. In 1994 Maria worked in a bridal boutique creating evening and
bridal wear.

• Maria is an expert sewing machinist and has worked in the industry as a

consultant for many years. She has participated in several Sydney Stitches &
Craft exhibitions, and has also taught dressmaking, machine embroidery and
quilting to students of all levels.

• Maria has been teaching sewing classes at Macquarie Community College since 2004.

Currently Maria is designing couture bridal and evening wear for a range of clients.

Qualifications

• Certificates in Fashion Technology, Bridal wear and Pattern making skills.
