TUTOR PROFILE:
MONICA DALIDOWICZ
Monica Dalidowicz has studied kathak since 2001, taking up study under kathak master Pandit Chitresh Das in 2004. She has studied, performed, and taught under the guidance of Pandit Das in both the USA and India, as well as studying in Canada under Das’s disciple, Joanna deSouza.
In 2012, she finished a PhD in anthropology and dance that focused on learning kathak dance and training in the guru-shishya (master-disciple) tradition.
Monica has also studied modern, contemporary dance, and Polish folk dance.
