Deanne Chapman

Qualifications: Deanne Chapman is a qualified florist, holding the Commercial Floristry Certificate from TAFE (3 year course), plus advanced courses: Advanced Floral Art, Advanced Design, and Special Advanced Design at TAFE. She also undertook a special professional course in floristry in New Zealand.

Deanne was employed as the Floral designer for the Intercontinental Hotel before leaving to start her own business, specialising in wedding flowers (and occasionally funeral flowers).

Deanne is very adaptable, and is more than happy to give guidance if a student wants to do something that is not in the curriculum (we can all learn from each other!). Deanne has taught Floral Art and Fun with Flowers (including Advanced Design) for many years at Macquarie Community College.
