GAYLENE McCAW
Gaylene has qualifications in law, accountancy, and fashion. Her experience includes fashion retail with Coles Myer, small and large business strategic planning and management, training organisation management and fashion design and garment construction. After a career in business, she trained in fashion design & merchandising in Sydney and Paris and has been involved in Fashion and Fashion related industries for more than 8 years. Her special interest is couture clothing and construction techniques. Gaylene teaches fashion business, merchandising, advanced pattern making and dressmaking.
After serving an “apprenticeship” with Elizabeth Bence, a now retired Couturier who studied in Paris and Milan and worked with Givenchy and Yves Saint Laurent, Gaylene is making advanced sewing techniques accessible to the public.
