PhD Linguistics

Yong Ju Rue has obtained her PhD in Linguistics. She has been teaching Korean and Mandarin Chinese since 2005.

She has classroom management skills for a wide range of topics and for various levels, and has been teaching written and spoken Korean, the four essential language skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking. A variety of communicative activities have been designed by her to help students acquire these four essential skills.

Yong Ju has worked with both local and international students from many different backgrounds. She enjoys interacting with those from all kinds of cultural backgrounds and would consider herself cosmopolitan.
