If you’re writing or planning to write a novel, join an award-winning, multi-published fiction author to help you discover who your characters are, what makes them tick, what they need, how they achieve their goals and how this affects your story. There will be lots of practical hands-on opportunities to work on your own book so come prepared to write!

Course Outline
In this course you will learn:
- what character goals, motivations and conflicts are and why they’re important
- how to define GMC for their characters
- why the past is the key to a strong story
- various methods of defining what makes their characters tick
- how to further develop their story past chapter one
Course Outcome
By the end of the course you will learn:
- have a greater understanding of various writing techniques
- be able to apply practical knowledge to develop their characters and story

The ability to read and write in English at an intermediate level or higher.
