Learn how to run without getting injured in this workshop which is perfect for beginners or the injury prone veteran.
The 'Run Without Injury' workshop will teach you techniques that will make running easier and less painful. Running with the correct technique will maximise the economy of running by eliminating unnecessary movement and wasted motion. Topics covered include: breathing, posture, endurance, footwear, body mechanics and alignment. Learn with us and you will be running free in no time!
Personal feedback relevant to each student will be provided.

Course Outline
In this course you will learn:
- Body mechanics and alignment
- Breathing practices
- Strengthening and stretching exercises
- Advice on exercise programming
Course Outcome
Students can expect to gain an understanding of the importance of maintaining correct body mechanics and breathing practices in order to improve running performance and minimise the injury risks associated with running. Personal feedback relevant to each student will be provided.

- Course notes to be emailed to students at conclusion of session

- No prior knowledge required
- Participants will need to complete a health screening form on arrival
- Participants will need to provide feedback to questions asked about their exercise history and performance
