Flower Arrangement - Easter Wreath - Sydney Course

If you are passionate about flowers and want to create a beautiful floral arrangement this Easter season then this course is for you!

This flower arrangement course will capture the simplicity and beauty of seasonal flowers fresh from the Sydney Flower Markets. You will learn how to use special techniques and colours to make a lovely flower display in a wreath adding some Easter eggs to complement your fresh flowers.

This 2 hour flower arrangement course will be taught by an experienced florist who will guide you on how to make a stunning floral arrangement for you to enjoy at Easter time.

Beginners are welcome, as well as those who have already completed other Flower Arrangement courses. It will give you opportunities to broaden your experience with flowers.

Course Outline

In this course you will learn:

  • How to create a flower wreath arrangement
  • Tips and techniques such as how to cut and care for your flowers
  • Floral philosophy, such as colour, texture and positioning

Course Outcome

By the end of the course you will know:

  • How to care for your fresh flowers
  • How to arrange flowers in a basket
  • What equipment to use when arranging flowers
  • How to combine creativity with floristry technical skills

What to bring

  • Pen and paper
  • Secateurs or florist scissors

Please note: The teacher has florist scissors ($6) and rose strippers ($4) if you would like to purchase them.

Prerequisite

This course is for suitable for all levels. Complete beginners are welcome as well as those students who have already completed the Introduction to Flower Arrangement course or higher levels.

Classroom based: experienced and engaging trainers will take you through the course material face to face.

Classroom based learning for this course includes:
