The course is designed for beginners, however it is desirable if you already know how to hold a crochet hook and make chains. It is also suitable for those who have some knowledge and experience of crochet and would like to revise and further their skills.

Course Outline
In this course, you will learn:
- Crochet hooks and sizes
- How to hold the crochet hook and yarn
- How to start a chain
- Techniques of single, half double, double, triple crochet stiches
- Double crochet stiches
- Pattern ‘v’ stitches
- How to identify and count stiches
- How to assemble/finish off your piece - assembling the flower, leaves and sepal together into the vase
Course Outcome
By the end of this crochet workshop, you will be become confident in the following:
- How to hold the crochet hook and yarn
- How to start a chain, single, half double, double, triple stitches
- Assembly techniques
- Applying crochet skills and techniques on a new project.
Most importantly, you will have created your very own flower in a vase to take home or give as a gift.

- Workshop materials will be provided.
- Participants will pay separately is they wish to buy the crochet hook they use.
Prerequisite:
- This workshop is designed for beginners, however it is desirable if you have some knowledge of crochet, such as how to hold crochet hook and make chains.

- We offer training in face to face and/or online learning formats.
- Please see scheduled class for delivery format.
- Online classes delivered via livestream video over Zoom.
Classroom based: experienced and engaging trainers will take you through the course material face to face.
