Christmas Cupcake and Cookie Decorating Workshop - Sydney Course

With Christmas just around the corner, learn to create and decorate amazing Christmas Cupcakes and Cookies that will impress your family and friends. These are perfect as a gift idea or a great addition to any dessert table during the festive season.

In this workshop, you will learn how to use fondant, pipe butter cream icing, as well as a variety of decorating styles, including the use of texture mats, stencils, shimmers and more! Techniques learnt in this course can also be applied to larger cakes.

This class is suitable for beginners, or those wanting to add a new cake decorating style to their existing repertoire.

Course Outline

In this workshop, you will learn the following:

• How to cover cupcakes and cookies using fondant and butter cream icings.
• A variety of decorating styles on fondant, including the use of texture mats, stencils, shimmers etc.
• How to pipe with butter cream icing, using large piping tips e.g. 1M, 2D, 1A etc.

Course Outcome

By the end of the class, you will have gained a variety of cupcake and cookie decorating skills and the ability to replicate them at home. Techniques can also be applied to larger cakes.

What to bring

Students do not need to bring anything other than a notepad and pen to write notes. The student cost will cover all tools required including:

• Cupcakes and Cookies
• Icings
• Tools
• Boxes to transport Cupcakes and Cookies home
